Where We Meet
The Midrand Gnostic Centre
The Midrand Gnostic Centre is the home of the School of Gnosis: South Africa. We hold free introductory lectures and donation-based weekly classes in Gnosis here, including meditation classes in Midrand, at Rabie Ridge Community Hall on the eastern side of Midrand next to Tembisa. Midrand sits between Johannesburg and Pretoria, so students reach us by car, minibus taxi, or Gautrain to Midrand station and a taxi from there.

What Happens Here
A Weekly School of Self-Knowledge
Each week the centre hosts one class in the introductory curriculum: a talk on the week's topic, from esoteric psychology to meditation and the Kabbalah, paired with practical work you take into daily life. The course builds progressively, and newcomers are welcomed into the current cycle.
The centre is also a community. Students from across Gauteng, of every background and tradition, meet here as sincere seekers walking the same path. There is no membership fee and no obligation; classes are sustained by donations from those who find the work valuable.
We teach the universal Gnostic science in the lineage of Samael Aun Weor, the practical work of self-knowledge through which, as every genuine esoteric school has taught, the student comes to know the universe and the divine.
Getting Here
Why Midrand?
Midrand was chosen deliberately: it sits between Johannesburg and Pretoria, so one venue serves both cities. From Sandton and the northern suburbs you come up the N1 or M1 and then east to Rabie Ridge; from Pretoria and Centurion you come south on the N1 and then east. The Gautrain also stops at Midrand, and from the station it is a short taxi ride, so the centre is reachable without a car.
Because classes are held in a private venue, the exact address is shared once you register your interest, along with the schedule and everything you need for your first class. Registration is free and carries no obligation.
