Gnosis Classes for Pretoria
If you are looking for Gnosis classes in Pretoria, our weekly classes are held at Rabie Ridge Community Hall in Midrand, south of Pretoria by road and on the Gautrain line through Centurion to Midrand station. The introductory lectures are free. The weekly classes that follow are run on donations. Classes are in person, open to beginners, and follow the introductory Gnostic curriculum of Samael Aun Weor.
Getting There
From Pretoria to the Midrand Centre
Midrand sits between Pretoria and Johannesburg, at the southern edge of Tshwane's commuter belt. From the Pretoria CBD you come south on the N1 and then east to Rabie Ridge, and it is shorter still from Centurion. Students also travel in from Hatfield and Menlyn on the eastern side of the city, and the Gautrain runs from Hatfield and Pretoria station through Centurion to Midrand.
Without a car, the Gautrain runs from Pretoria and Hatfield stations through Centurion to Midrand station, so the centre is reachable by rail from most of the city. The exact venue, and the simplest route from your side of Pretoria, is shared when you register your interest.
One centre between the two cities lets a single weekly class serve sincere seekers from both Pretoria and Johannesburg, which is exactly why the school is based in Midrand rather than in either city centre.
The Classes
What You Will Study
The introductory course is a progressive weekly series: the foundations of Gnosis, esoteric psychology and the pluralised "I", the awakening of consciousness, karma and reincarnation, the mysteries of life and death, the Kabbalah and the Tree of Life, and practical training in relaxation, self-observation and meditation from the early classes onward.
There is no fee. Classes are donation-based and free to join, no prior experience is required, and students of every religious tradition, or none, study together without being asked to change what they believe.
