From the Northern Suburbs
Gnosis Classes for Sandton
If you are searching for Gnosis classes in Sandton, the nearest are our weekly classes at Rabie Ridge Community Hall in Midrand, up the N1 or M1 and then east, or two Gautrain stops north of Sandton station and a short taxi ride from Midrand station. The introductory lectures are free. The weekly classes that follow are run on donations. Classes are held in person, open to beginners, and follow the introductory curriculum of Samael Aun Weor taught in Gnostic centres worldwide.
Getting there
From Sandton to the Midrand Centre
Sandton is where most of our Johannesburg students start from. By car, you take the N1 or M1 north and then head east to Rabie Ridge. By Gautrain, board at Sandton station and Midrand is the second stop, after Marlboro, with a short taxi ride from the station; students from Rosebank board one stop earlier on the same line.
Students also join us from Fourways and Randburg, for whom the trip is a similar run north. The class day and time are announced at the introductory lecture, and that is the moment to ask us the simplest route from your side of Sandton.
We chose Midrand rather than a venue in Sandton itself because one centre between the two cities lets a single weekly class serve seekers from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. The Johannesburg page covers the trip from the rest of the city, including Park Station and the East Rand.

The classes
What You Will Study
The introductory course moves week by week through the foundations of Gnosis: how your psychology is constituted, why consciousness sleeps and how it awakens, the laws of karma and dharma, the mysteries of life and death, the Kabbalah, and practical work with relaxation, self-observation and meditation. The full list is on our Topics of Study page.
Classes cost nothing to join; they are donation-based, and financial difficulty will never keep you out. No prior experience of Gnosis, meditation or psychology is needed, and you are never asked to leave your own religious tradition.
Practical Questions
Sandton Questions, Answered
Is there a Gnostic centre in Sandton itself?
No. The school's classes are in Midrand, up the N1 or M1 from Sandton or two stops north on the Gautrain. It is the closest Gnosis class to Sandton, Rosebank, Fourways and Randburg.
Can I get to the class by Gautrain?
Yes. From Sandton station, Midrand is the second stop northbound, after Marlboro. Directions for the final leg from Midrand station to the venue are shared with you when you register.
Can I come straight to a class without registering?
Please register first. The venue is private, and the address, day and time are shared only with registered participants. Registration is free and carries no obligation.
What do the classes cost?
Nothing to join. Classes are sustained by donations, and nobody is turned away for lack of means.
